UW Formula Motorsports is the University of Washington's Formula SAE team, a competitive engineering club that designs, manufactures, and assembles a 2/3 scale electric F1 racecar.
As an engineer on the aerodynamics team, I was responsible for the designing, machining, and testing of various parts and assemblies with the ultimate goal of generating downforce and improving the vehicle's performance using a variety of technologies, including SolidWorks, CFD in ANSYS Fluent, FEA in ANSYS Mechanical, and composite layups.
